I was looking around the net today and I found some Manual Boost controllers selling for nearly $100. To me they just look like some kinda thing you could buy at home Depot. I know the TII guys do this but can you make one for the FD...If so. How? My other car had the boost raised to 11psi but the Cpu wasnt tuned. Just wondering if pettit pade these things also.

Anybody have instruction on how to make one or is it too dangerous?

Thanks alot.

I just read all that and I also read that when you install it you shouldnt go above stock boost levels. I was wondering if you can bump it up to 11psi if I had a ported motor, 3mm seals, downpipe and catback?? Or will it go boom? I only want to do it at the track when I go back this weekend. I dont want to drive it like this daily....

11 PSI is pretty safe on the stock ECU, although that is pushing the envelope.

If you want to go any higher than that you'll need the capacity for more fuel delivery and an ecu (or piggy back) that will use it.

First rule E.C.U upgrade!!!!!!Don't take the chance.

E.C.U $500---$2500 ( piggy back or stand alone )

Engine $4000++

You don't want to go BBBOOOOOOMMMMMM!
