i cant get the diffusers out of the secondary slots, anyone have any ideas on how to get them out?

Carefully with needle nose pliers. Or try some hemostat clips.

SO i pulled out the diffuser, only 1/2 came out, will i be ok only using 1/2. ive heard of some people doing this.
