hey guys i'm new on here and i was wondering, I really wanna get this rx7 that is for sale. Its got like 57000km's on the motor and is unmolested with only an hks exhaust and apexi intakes. It is a really nice car and it was imported through a guy that imports cars for a living and he is a mechanice so the car has been up to date with all service and hasn't been driven into the ground like alot of imports. I want to know if I can daily drive this car. I've heard lots of things about them being really good as long as you do regular oil changes and everything like that. Is this true?? Can i really daily it and not have to worry about it breaking or having problems?? Let me know as I am super interested in the car

Thanks

Sometimes you can and sometimes you can't. Just like with any other type of car, some of them run beautifully for a long time with little problems, while others always have problems. Proper maintenance and treatment of the car will make it more reliable, but you never know when Murphy is going to come up and slap you in the face. I would look around and make sure that you have a good, reasonably priced and experienced rotary mechanic (not a dealership) in your area. They should be able to take care of any problems that you run into.

Welcome to nopistons! I like that reply, but I'm moving this to the 3rd gen section, you should get more answers there.

I daily drive mine, it is a '94 that is lightly modded. I change the oil regularly and keep up on maintenance. I even take it to the track a couple times a year

hey guys thanks for the info, i've been doing alot of reading up and it looks like it is definitely doable with a couple smart mods and not driving the car like a moron
