I found a place that is willing to sell me a gauge cluster for cheap, and they asked me if i had Hard or soft suspension in my Rex? Apparently the instrument panel varies with the model type. I am guessing that the Touring has the softer springs, and the R1 would have the Harder suspension.
My car was stripped, and i am piecing it back together, and there is no easy way to tell if i had an R1 or a Touring car. (hell i don't even know if i am using the right terminology). Is there a way to look at the springs and be able to tell wether i have the hard or soft suspension? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Travis |
that shouldnt be taken into account for a cluster...
only thing i can think of as far as differences are between automatic and 5 speed.. and that 93s had more hash marks than that of the 94-5.. |

Do you have 2 oil coolers? A strut tower bar? "suede" seats? R1's all had that stuff.
If you have a sunroof, rear wiper, cruise control, leather, then most likely you have a touring or base model |

if you have dual oil coolers... . KEEP THEM. do not sell.

Amp is correct...there is no difference besides year and drivetrain. Model doesnt matter........

the soft suspension tourings and bases have a light for "cruise" control in the bottom of the tach, the r1's do not.
