after getting the p-fc in my car and all, i go to a stop light to see my idle is now 1000rpm higher than it should be.. after thinking and a lot of driving, the idle is at 2300, i put my foot behind the pedal and pulled towards me and it dropped. basically the pedal s getting stuck, i do NOT believe it is my floor mats (eventhough i have two sets on top of eachother), if it is not the mats, what is it and can i fix it? i don't want my car to idle over 2000, im sure noone does....

This happened to me a while back.
I just adjusted the cable a little, and drove it a little loose for a while and then tightened it back up and no problems. I think its just the throttle postion sensor being a bastard. |
so play with the cable nuts by the tb?

yeah it worked for me.... I just gave the cable a little slack. NOW if there is already slack I would say the cable maybe frucked up, but I havent gotten that far, so maybe I wouldnt be the best source for that.

i doubt the cable is messed up, if it is, i can easily repair it. thanks for the help
