Because some people get aftermarket rims/tires that are larger than the stock ones. Once you do this, you fooling yourself if you think that you can't skid anymore. I can leave 5 to 10 foot skid marks on the ground before my ABS kicks in.

I will be doing this probably this weekend. I'll have pics up soon of the things that you will need. B)

I don't have the tools necessary to do it. But my buddy has them. Problem is that he was trying to get his car "legally" JCI'd...meaning he was going to get a paper inspection...but we only have to get checked every 2 years so it's a little easier. Anyways, he was trying to find some shops to do it but couldn't. Hopefully I can try this weekend, but if not I can at least get pics of how his looks. :P

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.png What fuse? The ABS fuse? How would that keep the pump from leaking? I'm going to get around to pulling my leaky pump, but for now, I check the brake fluid level more often than the oil. I already have all the parts from a non-ABS car to put in.

j9fd3s 08-13-2002 03:56 PM

it wont stop the leak, the original guy just wants it not to work

yeah, definitely more room. The J-spec Engine's have the abs on the US driver's side, so I can get rid of it and put my fuel pressure regulator there, and relocate my coils from underneath the UIM...
