Do you guys just go with the stock one or like someone suggested to me i find a K&N one that fits.. anyone have any suggestions of the matter?

Stick with stock, You know that one works for sure.

Although I would like to know how the K&N does. I just wouldnt want to be the guinea pig https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

find out the differences in particle size filtration between the factory versus k&n..

advantage in k&n is its reusable.. and its stainless steel..

i have heard many moons ago on the big list the issue of greater frequency in maintenance..

as opposed to the recommended every 30k fuel filter change...that is in a stock fd..

and yall know the pita replacement process..

I have heard that you can place a K&N in a better spot than the stock filter. No other details. It sure is a PITA.

You can relocate the stock filter too.

You can get these ones with 3/8" barbed fittings. K & N Fuel Filters

Those K&N fuel filters are discontinued, I tried to order some a couple of months back and got the same answer everywhere I called. Stock works fine unless you are going for big HP, I put an Aeromotive 10 micron filter in when I redid all my fuel lines with braided SS and fittings. The paper element is replaceable for about $12 each, you can also get a SS mesh version but it only filters down to 100 microns.
