I have a hks 24x12x3 front with 3 inch piping that points to the back of the vehicle. I am thinking of cutting out a portion of the front bracing material that holds the bumper to put it as close as possible to the front v3ent opening. Ive looked at tons of custom piping designs and everyone seems to have the pipes go straight up and over the radiator before mounting to the turbo and the compression tube. It seems to me that the koyo radiator I have should allow the 3 inch pipes to be routed under it then go ninety degrees up to mount to the compression tube and turbo. Am I missing something obvious or is it just a preference thing. Any suggestions appreciated from those whove had to fab their own pipes.

The HKS pipes actually do what you are wanting to. It's the only kit I have seen routed this way and I do not know why, but I prefer it. I don't have any pics of the pipes on this comp but I have some on my laptop I can post later. In kit form you need to shave a couple inches of the mouth to fit the thickness of the IC. I am assuming you are trying to pipe a single turbo?

Just pick the shortest route, with the smoothest bends..
