Found an RX7 Opinion Please....

Hope this is the right place to post but really need some professional opinions on a possible purchase of a 3rd gen with some mods. Can someone help me out and see if this is a good deal at 12K. Here is the post.

1993 Mazda Rx7 FD Touring, low miles, I'm the 3nd owner, clean title in hand, clean carfax, no accidents, 5spd, 90,000, black interior black leather in great condition, Original Bose sound system, pioneer 8' speaker, CD/MP3, all wheel ABS, power sunroof, power windows and locks, everything works great. 1st owner owned it until 2012 in Georgia Car has A LOT of money in upgrades and parts. Car starts right up every time with no problems. Only thing car needs is a new ECU. The car has the factory ECU which work, cant handle the load with all the modifications done and will need a aftermarket ecu. Has new Stage 3 ACT clutch kit good for 650hp. New plugs and oil change and filters also.

Re: Found an RX7 Opinion Please....

Have you driven the car? The thing that immediately stands out is that it's running the stock ECU on a turbo that's running 12lbs.....bad juju

I wouldn't buy it unless I could personally look at the car and drive it, test the compression and do all of the other things you do when you look at buying a 20 yr old car, but that's me. if everything checks out, 12k isn't a bad price
