We actually distribute Keiths braces. The rubber was something I was going to do myself for my car. No current plans to sell it with the brace. Maybe I could write a how-to when I get around to doing it. The problem is all this stuff we add to our cars makes noise, vibrates, etc. Honestly I think it makes the car feel like a piece of **** to most people. Only use rotorheads understand and can deal with it, but I like to be able to take others for a ride and take girls out, and want the car to feel nice and solid to them. Its a street car, not a race car.

if people follow the instructions on instalation it only takes a few minutes to put it on. maybe taking it off for street use and use it as just a *track day* brace wouldnt be a bad idea. i dont think they allow chicks in the passanger seat while on the track no matter how good they look. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

i dont get any vibration from my diff brace though.... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif

yeah the diff brace won't make much vibration, however the tranny brace is a different story. There are 2 problems with using rubber isolators as suggested before. To remove vibration they would have to be quite thick which would allow flex and that would defeat the purpose. put in a thin piece and the effects would most likly be marginal if any at all

some thing some of you might want to do is put in solid engine mounts.. we all have them over here. the engine is still trying to tork on the rubber mounts, but the tranny is solid so it probably makes more noise and vibration than it would if it isn't trying to fight the engine. Solid engine mounts are also kick ass.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png My car is like jumping in to a tank for instance. everything is solid and I've reinforced the rear subframe as well. I personally like to hear, feel and drive the **** out of my car, not just go for a ride in it.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

I dont know what yours sounds like Chris. But when I put the tranny brace on (i do like it btw however this sounds) The car sounded like it was geting peppered by an AK-47 or someshit. I think it is a combo of posssbile bad diff bushings , weak motor mounts and lack of cushion on the tranny brace.

I dont mind hearing the car do its thing but when that is all i notice about the car its a bit much to deal with.

Think sticking a playing card in a bicycles wheels spokes and magnify the sound about 20 times and that is what It sounds like.

eek...no thanks...i'll just stick w/ my diff brace...

Anyone got a pic of it on their car? I've never seen one...

I like the idea of having a street/race car. Luxuries like Leather, sunroof, and smooth drive feel is something I still want, as much as I want an all out pavement killer.

You definitly have somthing not right on your car. You should only have a slight vibration and be able to hear the tranny gears whurrr a little. No commie's should be attacking your car type sounds.. You might want to look at your drivetrain and see what's broke because you definitly have issues down there someplace. I'd guess a broken PPF or engine mount.
