Target price is $750 a pair. What do you guys think? We can make it in carbon fiber as well.

Special thanks to a very nice customer of mine who donates the fenders. You know who you are. =)

Tom

Let's see how people like it. Maybe no one likes it. I just made it without anyone asking for it. Sometimes you need to take a risk in business. hehe.

Looks real good man.......what about all the mounting and blinker holes, you drill those i later? I figured they were molded in.

Are they the same thickness and all that as the originals

Yup, I have it filled up but the mark is still there so you can just use a dremel and cut it out. If you don't want to use the blinker lights, you can just smooth it out the mark with a orbital sander. Any bodyshop can do that in 5-10 min.

I can actually make you anything thickness you want. The thickness is calculated by oz. The original is a 3 oz. I can make you a 2 oz, 3 oz or 4 oz. If you go with 6 oz, it will be twice as heavy as the original and twice as thick. So you can do the math from there. As long as it's within 4 oz, it's the same price. If you want a thicker one, you have to pay more for material and labor time. Thank you.

i think you're right

Sinful7 03-06-2003 12:18 AM

How does this fender affect the release and/or flow of air through the oil coolers?

And what's so special about having the fender cut out after the wheel anyhow?

RotaryNoah 03-06-2003 08:58 PM

they look great

i like em, but i think 750 a pair is a little high for replicas (i know they are good as origonal)

might just be me

Nah I think you're right. I've seen them go for 900 from Chuck himself, so I think 750 is too much. I'll be definitly going for almost everything FEED and WILL be buying from Chuck when the time comes, but 750 is way too high for replicas and not in CF. Your products suck Chuck, I make everything better and cheaper.

P.S.- My check'll be in the mail soon. I'm still kicking myself in the ass for not getting in on the PFC group buy. DAMN IT https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

God damn, it was the Type 2 R side skirts that are 900 not the fenders. The fenders are 1200, ****. Sorry about that Chuck, honest mistake. Now that I think about it, 750 isn't really that bad considering the type of work you do. But if you can do 'em in CF for 750, you'd be my hero (Sorry Vos).

rotaryextreme 03-07-2003 05:34 AM

How about this, if I have 10 buyers, I will sell them for $600. Better?

When you order, let me know how thick you want the fender to be too. Original is 3 oz, I can make either 2 oz, 3 oz or 4 oz.

Chuck Huang

rotaryextreme 03-07-2003 05:37 AM

I don't plan to make those in CF. It's not that easy to make it nicely with all that sharp bend at the middle of the fender. Sorry man. But if you pay me a lot, maybe I will consider it...hehehe.

As always, great work Chuck.

93 R1 03-07-2003 06:02 PM

This is whats on DRAGON's car right? They go over the original fenders, or are they replacements?

Not in my case, my truck has only rust in the floor boards, not on the body..

And the rust on the floor boards is from my dads neglect to fix a leaky windshield gasket..

rx7tt95 03-09-2003 10:06 PM

Chris (Dragon) has the Panspeed fenders I believe.

The "cutout" at the bottom trailing edge of the fender is to smooth out the airflow coming off the rear wheel.

Benny 03-10-2003 02:12 PM

sweet... can any sideskirt fit on that fender? Or does it have to be the feed Carbon fiber side skirt? I like the cf skirts.. but damn they are expensive... make some replica ones again in cf.. so they will be cheaper hahahaha.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

JT-Imports 03-10-2003 03:58 PM

THE sideskirts can fit on both and all the fenders.

Sideskirts expensive? $800 Shipped for sidekirts is fair, especially

if we can do a GB on the REAL ones, I want them on my car too.

The FEED and PANSPEED are pretty much identical.

I can get the PANSPEED for cheaper then the FEED though.

I dont have a pic on our webpage of the PANSPEED Fenders

like the FEED ones, but they are around $850-$900 shipped I

can remmeber off the top of my head.
