I don't know, maybe i'm trippin but, each time I leave a gas station with a full tank, my FD feels like it is more responsive as far as acceleration and pedal response seems better. I'm going crazy right? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif

Might just be that the extra weight aft of the rear axle is causing the car to squat more.
Might make you feel like you are making a little more power. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/cool.png |
I must be crazy also, because i feel the same thing in the FD. Im pretty sure its all in our heads though https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif

Are you sure its when you get a full tank, or do you have a power loss after you run down a full tank? I once had a car that every time i added fuel it felt faster. then i realized when i opened the gas cap air would rush in to the tank (like a gushing sound). My point is, the vacuum pressure in the tank makes it harder for the pump to do its job. Try leaving the cap a little loose. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

I dont know but i feel the same way. Also i get a better hook up with a full tank i swear. But that has to be because of the weight. so maybe it does make you go a little faster on the low end.

Whew ok.. it's not just me then! Or maybe we're all going nuts! j/k. I think pressure in the tank has something to do with it and more gas in the tank makes more pressure in the tank making it easier to squirt the juice? I am just stabbing in the dark at this point. A weird phenomenon altogether. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif
