I know this has been posted a few times before but Im thinking of either removeing the ABS in my car or installing a switch to turn it off and on. I really dont think i need it and can drive just fine with out it. what have you guys done?

I haven't done much research on it, but i've heard people say that the braking times are so much better with it, that it's not worth it.
I was on an "I want an empty engine bay" kick for a while, and considered it. |
Ive heard or numerous track reports that cars w/ abs stop shorter than the same exact car w/out ABS IE vipers and someother high performance cars. I dunno, its to much of a hassle for me to bother with, id say just keep it

Keep it. I took mine off but breaking is better with it.

if it is gonna be a street car more than 10% of the time you have it.... keep the ABS... If it is a track only car... ditch it. You *CAN* stop faster without in on dry pavement if you are a really good driver... but 9 times out of 10... people need it.

I've been involuntarily without ABS since I bought my car, and I have yet to really miss it, but I'm still trying to make it work. My recommendation would be that unless there is something very expensive wrong with it it's not worth the effort to remove.

You're not going to be concentrating 100% the whole time on the road - I'd rather regret leaving it in than regret taking it out.

Fast Car+Wide tires+Rain...you do the math. If it's a track cay ONLY, then I say dump it.
