Hello I need some help if you dont mind My rx-7 was in storeage for around a month when I went to start it and it turned over but sounded like it wasnt getting gas. So I went and pulled the plugs to see if it was flooded. The top plugs the Trailing ones where loaded with gas and the bottom 2 where just black like it was running rich. I went and got new plugs installed them pulled the fuel pump relay and it started up. I then let it warm up and took it for a spin and it falls flat on it face when you push it a little bit and give it gas, but if you feather everything and dont push it it runs all right any ideas?. Any help would greatly be appreciated

thanks JOhn

Sounds like limp mode maybe... Try resetting the ECU. Unhook battery, step on gas for 30 seconds, hook back up, start.

Just ask one of the Admin boys and see if they can delete one.

do you have a boost gauge? if so see if it "falls on it's face" as soon as it starts to make boost. I had the same exact problem. Mine was caused by the secondary injectors not working.

But they only come on after 4500 right? Or am I retarded?

as far as I remember they come on when you hit boost, at least I know that thats how mine work.
