I bought new washers for these screws and yet they still ******* leak. I tightend them as much as i could, if I try anymore they'll brake. I know this cause I already broke 2 of them. What can I do to stop them from leaking?

These screws have holes in them and are very soft. They brake very easy. I don't know what to do. They don't leak much, but they leak. I can see antifreez and oil on the turbos and I know it comes from top :(

Any help is apreciated.

teflon tape on the threads

They have holes. I can't put tape over it. It won't help at all.

Maybe some sealer on the flanges??? I had a metal gasket between the flanges that I replaced. No leaks for the first two days. The motor popped two days after I got her all put back together so I guess it worked... I'm getting new turbos too so it really doesn't matter in my case but I hope it helps you out.

they make a liquid teflon tape. it comes in a little can with a brush applicator. i would just check the heat range first on the liquid stuff. also you did get copper crush washers right? normal washer wont work to great.

Yeah, they are copper. I'll have to take everything aparrt in order to do something with the damn lines.

Let them sit for a day or 2.. Then just put some hi-temp silicon around where they leak. It'll at least keep the fluids in. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR

Belive it or not I was actually thinking of doing that, but it will look so ugly and dirty. I know you wouldn't do that on your FD, you clean bastard https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
