I brought this subject up with one of the techs at the dealership that I work at, and he said that all you have to do is make sure that you use high grade exhaust hangers that will not bend. Or you can be crazy and weld it to parts of the frame as long as you have it eyed up perfectly.

And then when it comes time to take the exhaust off to service anything up there, you cant because it's welded in place https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.png

No, he said to use really good hangers, but if it annoys you that bad then weld the damn thing. But nothing is worse than exhausts that look like they are shooting off to the side, or are hanging 4 inches too low.

I will assume that there are 2 hangers at the back of the muffler?? If so, slip the metal "rods through the rubber hangers, the add a small hose clamp on each one. have someone hold the muffler centered, then tighten the hose clamps so the muffler will stay in place https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

sometimes you can flip a hanger around and fix it, jays method works great too
