Hi everyone, Im new here and recently bought a 1993 rx7 r1 (for 6000) off some idiots used car lot.
The car had a major fuel leak, and surprisingly, it was the banjo connected line on the fuel rail. not the fpd like i thought it would be. So, anyway, the car was running decent with this leak, but lacking power and stalling with a/c on. I repaired the fuel rail, cleaned all the parts and added new seals/air separater things. When I got everything back together, the car started fine but idles slightly high(1100 Rpms) It is also running extremely rich and will stutter and hesitate to the point of stalling out if i press on the gas quickly. I didnt notice this when I drove the car from the carlot to my house and believe it may be something I hooked up wrong. If anyone has any ideas please let me know:) Thanks allot - Greg
btw check engine light on- will reset properly, but once car is started i hear clicks similar to relay noise and light comes back on. took to mazda because i couldnt get ecu to flash codes. Mazda said comp is flasing 88s meaning the ecu isnt communicating for some reason. so i go to check pinouts on ecu and find that it is a pettit racing ecu.
