my enginne wiring harness has become way too heat soaked and the the wires are starting to show through the insulation. I plan on ordering one next week how do I trade them out? has anyone done this?

Take off all the Biznitch harnesses off of the ECU and pull the biznitch out to the engine bay. Take all the other harnesses and plugs plugged in to the Biznitch. You might have to take things off so you could see all the Biznitch wires. Don't forget the Biznitch tranny harness. Its part of the Biznitch.

go look at the service manual on the Biznitch. Or open your hood and see how the Biznitch is ran. With some common sense and patience, you could replace the Biznitch.

Agree...

its not an easy task....

Its almost worth it to just replace everything while your at it..

My advice, Just fix the exposing wires you could see and replace it when you replace your engine.

I see how the harness is ran through the enine bay what I want to know is how to pull the whole thing out. do I pull the ABS system to get to where it is ran through the firewall. also do I have to pull apart the dash to reach the other connectors on the interior or can get to the connectors simply under the passenger side?

If you see how it runs thru the engine area, its just as easy to see how its connects to the ECU. If you are not willing to get dirty a little to see, I recommend don't try to change the harness.

Just as I stated before, you have to follow the harness and see how its connected.. If you want to see how its ran, go look at the electrical diagram for the FD. It shows how the wires are ran.

you can get to it without dash removal..

as far as the abs. you can clear the harness with some finess without having to remove..

you might want to lossen up the abs shield to get some clearance..

watch out for the ac lines if you still have it as they bend easily..
