I did the DP and MP today and There is smoke fromt the exhaust now. Is it normal to have smoke form the exhaust almost all the time?

have you driven it much with the new parts? sometimes new exhaust parts will have some stuff inside to burn out... otherwise it's possible the cats were masking excessive oil burning https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png

ya mine smoked. i think its because your not used to it. if its a **** load of smoke then you might have a problem. And get used to the smell...That **** gives you a killer head buzz. haha

i was driving for a couple of hours behind 2 catless fd's....... i was halfway asleep all the way home til we started to go at least 60mph, after that i suddenly woke up.

thats what the wonders of carbon monoxide does to your wonderful brain

It's probably the "packing oil" that they use in pretty much all exhaust compenents.

Give it a long drive and then check it out, it will probably go away.

Sounds good guys, I hav eonly driven it 5 mile so far. I wouldn't be surprised to see that my engine was burning excessive oil but just in case I am going to buy a project engine and do everything to make it dependable and then probably sell the old engine later.
