I am about to install my new down pipe. I just wanted to know people's comments on what to look out for and what problems you ran into. Thanks a lot guys!

I don't want to pay some one. I know your joking because it is a pain I have heard.

Danno 12-28-2003 09:19 PM

FikseRxSeven 12-28-2003 09:24 PM

Ok eveyone lets say I don't want to pay someone to do it. What are the problems with installing it myself?

Go now and soak your Stud bolts with a penatrating oil. It will make your life much easier in the future!

Danno 12-28-2003 09:39 PM

I will do that!! Gotta buy some NOW!! What else? What do I need to remove to make life more easy?

FikseRxSeven 12-28-2003 11:38 PM

pb blaster would be good to loosen up the bolts

Id also suggest using loctite on the nuts when re-installing it. I have had them loosen up after a couple months. Sucks
