Got an FD that is pushing 400rhp and I was wondering if a differential upgrade is in order https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif
I have problems getting out of the whole on the launch but otherwise have no problems... Have heard about KAAZ diffs would they help??? |
I would uprade now.. pushing that much power your definatly going to blow it. You can go KAAZ(I have it..and love it) or you can go with a stock TII. Ive heard people say they are just as good.. for a lot less money. So, it all comes down to how much you want to spend.

not sure if Cusco makes one.. if you are going to go with an aftermarket diff.. definatly go with KAAZ.

cusco,kaaz,re-amemiya,ATS, and more all of them are clutch type
i had a re-amemiya 2 way and it was great.......i thought i broke it so i switched to a brand new T2 diff. no problems so far and i didn't break my re-amemiya... clutch diffs are TOUGH! the noise is a big concern on the kaaz.......... |
cool https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683894.gif
Noise, what is that...I'm running 3inch straight pipe what is a little more I'm already deaf... |
Cusco/RE Amemiya/Mazdaspeed are the best clutch types
|
i mean nasty clunking as in noise
|
i think i remember hearing that you need to change the fluid in a kaaz really frequently.
