i bought the turboxs standard boost controller.i figured i needed somethin until my powerfc is in.was that a good move or am i just wastin money?

Nevr saw the point of manual boost controllers. I always have to play with my profec to compensate for weather. Would be too much of a pita to go under the hood every time.

Manual boost controllers are more reliable, and also cheaper thats the point.

to me it seems as if there is the same margin for error with the manual BC as compared to an electronic one. i mean reall, there are plenty of folks who run the line into the cab so that it can be adjusted, and then the lenght of the vacuum line is lengthened, and to me, the actual VS. realized boost is compromised...........too much line out between the guage and the controller. my avc-r reads right off of the map sensor, and is spot on...
