This is a broad question, i can prob find the answer if i looked, but im bout to goto bed, so ill just ask...

i wanna get an FD in AZ, daily driven (itll be my only car).. what are some problems (cooling, fuel, etc etc) that i should watch out for??

im going to be doing the "reliability" mods pretty soon, but is there anything big i should look out for..

plus, the FD im looking at is a salvage title, its all original, its been repaired, and the title is restored, its got 73k miles on it, its R1, shes asking 12,000, you think 10,000 is fair??

thanks alot guys, any suggestions will help my noobish self out.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/cool.png

As long as you get an aluminum radiator, and all the other reliable mods you should be good. I daily drive my 7 in AZ(when I'm there)

Where are u in AZ??

I daily drive mine and I am here in Scottsdale. Definately upgrade the radiator and AST, either run approximately 75/25 water/coolant or like I did, get the Evans Coolant. Get something to monitor water temp, when it gets to be 110+ out you will see that the A/C makes your water temps soar.

I think it'll be fine to daily drive.. though I do suggest you get a beater car..

73k, r1, she........... it would be a good price....... other than the salvage title that is

Since your in AZ, your near california. You might want to look for some there. I am in San Diego and there is always alot for sale here, plus their in decent cond. I would say $10K is a good price for a salvage title. I got my R1 for a steal of a deal at $12k.

I had to get mine from San Diego. Flew out there.. had a buddy pick me up. went and looked at and then bought the car. got a touring with a few mods for 13.5.. plane ticket was only $100.
