I am about to fill my cooling system and I got the new Koyo. How much coolant should I put in and how much water should I add?

Keep adding and burping the system till it will not take any more. It takes several times usually to get it full. Top it off, put the top on, squish the upper rad hose, take the filler cap off and refill. Keep at it. If the coolant light and buzzer come on then you need to keep adding and buirping it. I would buy some water wetter from the store as well. I would fill with at least one gallon of coolant and make the rest distilled water.

Book sez 8.7 litres, but with the thicker rad it should be a bit more than that.

Do what Dave said. It took me ALL WEEKEND!!!!

do what dave says.... then have the car running and put a funnel on the filler neck..... and keep adding coolant til it wont suck it in anymore

I heard that. Last time i swapped filler necks i spent about 45 min to get it filled all the way. It seems like it could hold an ocean.

I put a gallon of distilled water in, and the rest coolant..
