Ive sent my converter off to get done, they are making me a custome 8" converter so they can get me my dezired 4000 stall out of it........The most they were able to get from the stock one was 3200.......Its costing me alot more than before but it will be worth the money in the long run to have the rpms right there were the turbo makes its power..........Its hard to find a company like that.....Ive been talking to someone else that had there converter by level ten (crooks) and they wanted that big of a stall and they said it wasnt close.........The company doing mine is midwest converters in rockford illinois........They called me back and explained everything to me and was helpfull.........Love it when people that you buy from are there to be helpfull not to just make a fast buck.................

Stock tranny? Not many people trying that these days...good luck with it. let us know how it works out.

No the tranny is at the tranny shop also as we speek. Its getting a major rebuild as we speek all new parts. Did you guys know that mazda toyota nissan and subaru all share the same internals for the most part......... Ive seen automatic supras hold 500whp with stock trannies..........Plus with alot of torque to go with it to boot....See every one told me the stock tranny would never hold up but how many people do you know that have gone thru the trouble like i have to build it right? If your familular with trannies much this tranny is comparable to a gm 700r4 And those trannies in stock form suck also but if you add all the good parts like i am with a good tranny cooler also they will hold up just as good. The only advantage over the gm tranny is you can get rid of the computer and you cant do that with the tranny outta 7......I was going to put a gm tranny in my car till i found all the parts and some one to do all this work local on the stock tranny. He asures me it will hold any amount of power ill ever give it. So well have to say.....

Oh and besides the price of the stall now at $800.00 im still able to build this with all labor cost and new internals for the tranny the cost is half of what level ten charges.....And im getting an 8" converter built instead of the factory sixed one witch i didnt measure but i think it was 12" in diamiter..............
