What is the diff between a 6 puck act clutch and somthing like a twin or triple plate OS giken. What makes the twin and triples better, and why? I blew my S/S up and want to know wether i should get a 6 puck or somthing like a OS triple. What's the diff in feel what's the diff like when you drop the clutch or slip it. I'd really like to know all i can about them so if some of you guys are clutch guru's fire away. Thanks.

puck clutches, especially unsprung, are a little tough, and you cant really slip 'em.

twin plate is cake to drive. No need for a triple plate...



The OS Giken clutches turn the pull type clutch into a push type....basically makes pulling the tranny/engine a snap. Give me a second and I'll get some pics up by tonight.

Twin plate means it has 2 disks which = twice the surface area = which handles more power without slipping.



Twin plates are nice if you have $2000 to drop for a clutch. Stick with an ACT pp and a SPRUNG 6 puck for your car
