hey everyone, ok heres my issue now, got the car back running, strong as ****, i knocked some wire lose blah blah, cars running strong again. pulling lie a motha,,,,i need a good clutch. right now i have an ACT 4 puck clutch and i absolutely hate it. ive driven other 4 puck clutches and they r nowhere near as impossible as mine to drive. my won mechanic who has a 6 puck stalled my ride out,, it sucks man...what suggestions do yall have in maknig my car enjoyable to drive and not a job with the pedal... thanks Ian

6 pucks are smooter to use.



If you want to send the money, get a twin plate clutch, they are like stock clutches as far as driveability.

I think it depends on your mods (or intended mods) and use. If you have a mildly modded or stock car with < than 400 whp, I think the ACT SS is pretty good. Just a touch firmer than stock, but I've been really happy with mine. When I searched both forums, I couldn't find anyone else that was unhappy with it either.

I got a cusco / exceedy twin plate clutch with flywheel ( forged chromemoly) . had it in car for almost 25000 ks and its a daily driver. I highly recommend. Easy to drive.
