Ok, I know it sounds kind of wierd, but I only get the check engine light when it rains. It comes and goes and the car runs the same. Has anyone else experienced this?... If it helps I do have a Apexi PFC.

did you check the code? Finding out what code comes on will help you find the problem.. here is a link on how to check if you don't know..

Those codes I dont think work for the PFC
Do you have all your sensors on ALNY93R1? I had a similiar problem when my KNOCK was on the rise. When one of your sensors get close to danger then will make the Engine light flash. Jason www.jt-imports.com |
I never heard heard that one.

I hope its not just for the 96- and up, since I have the 16bit, hummmm
I dont know, but I know its true... You might not be talking to me RX7Boost, but I answered HAHA Whats up man? Jason www.jt-imports.com |
I have the same problem. I have the stock ECU and I checked the codes, it came back with the Knock Sensor and the Thermosensor.
When you changed your knock sensor, did it stop? I figured it was just the attitude of the car, I swear, it has got to be a female...one day everything is great, running smooth; the next she is throwing code and under performing. :yinyang: |
I checked the sensors and all seemed to be fine, it's weird cause I wasn't even boosting, so my knock was low. Sometimes it goes away for 10 min and then it comes back. I drove the car today (no rain) and everything is normal, no check eng. light. I think she hates to get wet, unlike real women.
