Hello all,
Finally got my car all done and running after a year. Everything runs fine, prob is that i have tokico shocks and tanabe super low down spirng, all brand new w/ less than 50 miles. My car is good from the rear, but the front is lower and rubs, i have 18's 235/40's in the front. My question is, can i install 1/2 inch spacers in the front to raise it and where can i get them? I'm tapped out so i cant buy new springs or wheels. Thanks for any help. |
is it rubbing the fender well...or the actual fender and what are yur offsets?
|
rubbing fender when i turn and rubbing fender well sometimes
|
get your fenders rolled
|
thanks man, I just told the guy in the body shop today and he did it while i was there.

I was alos told that i could put the rubber spacers on the shocks to raise the front to the height i wanted.
That sounds like the plan. |

okay but what do you do in the case that you have birder fibre glass fenders with 18s eibach lowering springs and tokico 5 way gass adj. and your rubbin the fender wells? im running a 245/40/18 should i just down size to a 235/40/18 or a 245/35/18?
|
^^^nice sig...lol...i doubt downsizing to those sizes are gogint o do much...i am have the same probel and i have tried both 245/40's and 235's with the same result...i am hopefully going to have some free time to figure and solve the problems and i will let you guys know what needs to be done.
