hi

i have about $3000 to spend on my FD.

and i have to choices:

1:

custom single turbo setup for about $2300

i'll be using a 60-1 with a .7 comp and a 1.0 A/R but i'll have to run it on a pettit ECU. i have a fuel pump and the rest of my mods are listed below.

how much boost will i be able to run before the car runs lean?

and the pettit ECU will be used for about 3 months only , then i'll go with a PFC

2:

PFC with comander $1250

1300 cc injectors $330

wet 50 shot on stock motor and twins $1000

which setup is better, i have all the bolt ons and the car made 360whp @ 15 psi on stock twins and a stock motor on C16 gas.

BTW, my goal is to hit 120mph trap speed in the 1/4

93 Base VR 5spd

360RWHP and 310 TQ

Jasma EX with resonated MP

Greddy Pulleys,boost controller,IC

Apex intake

Denso fuel pump

Bonez DP

NGk plugs

Pettit ECU

120 trap with either set up is hard...

may be the 2nd choice is better, since you are doing fuel option and engine management first. that leaves you option open for turbo later.

if you do turbo and use weak engine management with stock injector.... you cant run much boost reliabily, thus making less power.

I say go with the Power FC and injectors. Get it tuned.

Don't get the nitrous and use that money on an intercooler.

why not save up a little more money, get turbo kit 2300, injectors 330, pfc 1100 ....

just a little bit more than your budget... but you can get it done.

i already have an intercooler. its a greddy SMIC

btw, with my old setup i ran a 13.0@112 mph at 3200 ft of elevation.

that should be close to 116 mph at sea level.

is spraying nitrous with 14 psi and a tuned ECU easier on the motor , than 17 or 18 psi with no nitrous?

also. i'll be using a new reman, i blew my motor about 2 months ago.

most guys use N20 to spool giant turbos.... i'd recommend just sticking with turbo only. its easier to tune and won't blowup as easily

Just don't run that high boost yet.

If you already have an upgraded IC, just save that $1000 for the single turbo setup.
