This is the hardest decision ive ever had to make in my life. Ive accepted my fate and decided that its time that i get rid of my FD. Right now my options are between the car and college. We all know the car isnt going to pay fopr its self anytime soon in the condition its in. I hate doing this but it has to be done. After I sold my Turbo II, I felt..empty. The car was really my only hobby, the only thing I enjoyed doing: driving.



Every time I'd ride around or drive around in something else, and saw a nicer car, I'd be like "damn it, I want my FC back."



Now I've had my FD about a month, and I'm just grateful to have it. That appreciation, and the motivation to modify it, is basically my inspiration/motivation to continue working hard at my job, and it gives me a "purpose".



I hope that if your passion for rotary is strong enough, that in the future you will have the oppurtunity to own another.

Yeah I dont agree with a car "just being a car". My car is the result of months upon months in a hostile country where friends have fallen.

i can't stand it when people are like.. OMG MY CAR !!! i've put so much blood sweat and tears into it.. waahhhh and its gone..



grow up. it's just a piece of metal.. a material object that can be replaced.



about 2 years my best friend that spent all his time working on cars was killed. all he cared about was his 300zx. parked it away from everyone, dumped every pay check into it, and would have shot someone if they as much rubbed the paint.. probably had 20+ grand into it..



he died in a bike crash. truthfully, that was around the time when i was about to buy an fd.. about the time i joined this site.. instead, i've decided to invest in other things besides an unreliable sports car.. i love this site, the bashing, and the rx-7. but for me to make a car a part of my life; it isn't going to happen



what we have here is just your typical example of another fd "roller" that needs an engine and other misc. parts.
