I am going ahead with a full rebuild on my 94 R2 FD.
Here is the list of what is planned. If anyone sees any improvement or changes let me know before I get started. Here is a list of parts being added: Full engine build by Pineapple Racing. HKS T04R turbo kit with intercooler. Haltech E6X RC Engineering 500cc injectors RC Engineering 1600cc secondary injectors Aeromotive fuel pump Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator Act Xtreme pressure plate, Pineapple Racing clutch disc, Exedy Billet Cromoly Racing Flywheel. Indigo full pulley kit (removing air pump) Downpipe, midpipe, catback (the cat back is an Apexi GT) Mazdaspeed short shifter HKS Hiper Damper coil overs M2 Competition trailing arms and toe link set. Volk 18x10 rear, 18x8 front. Again, if you see anything that has been overlooked or see room for improvement, let me know. If anyone has experienced problems with any of the mods I am looking at it would be great to find out about it. Thanks |
You may want to upgrade your radiator unless you've already done so.. and some gauges won't hurt either.

for heavily modified cars a radiator is good, I run in the 12s and have the stock radiator it's fine for me and I'm in florida. |

Replace the cats with straight pipes if you can. Much better exhaust flow that way. Keeps the heat away from the engine bay too.. which lengthens seal life.

One other thing, for seals, I am leaning towards ceramic. Unless there is good reason to avoid these.

Humm.. ceramics are porbably not needed unless you're planning on doing some high revving!
