Does anyone recommend specific pads for and FD. I have slotted rotors so should I go with high performance ones or just hit up NAPA. Do the high performance ones last longer? I need to make a desision quick because its time to get new ones.

High performance do not last longer, or they wouldn't be high performance. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
I have Hawk HP+ pads in my stock brakes and the stopping power is awesome! During the break in cycle I hit my head above the windshield because I wasn't ready for them to grab so hard. They dust a bit, but most of us wash our cars enough that you won't notice. |
Where is the best place to get the pads at. I need some but haven't heard anything on brands. I'm also running stock brakes now. Hawk pads the way to go?

I think it's hard to go wrong with Hawk, EBC, or Porterfield.
Don't by pads at Napa. They won't be high performance and you want good pads if you drive your car hard. It's really the part that can make the greatest difference in brake fade. |
hawk is good...i run porterfield...if you want hawk tell me i have a set for FD

Their $39.99 in the store. http://www.rx-7parts.com

Good plug for the store! I'll take 'em! Didn't even think to look there.

Shipping was a little harsh for pads but none the less they are on the way. Thanks Phinsup!

Shouldn't have been, I will double check the weight, if it's off I'll give you a credit don't worry about it!
Thanks |
yeah i put some cheap pads from my job ( Autozone) they are made in OH canada. I dont have anything to compare them too but they stop me i guess. Ima just use those until i get enough money to buy my slotted rotors and hawks.
p.s i have a FC lol |
