make sure you don't have a brake light out

r_xplicit 04-07-2003 03:37 PM

it shouldn't be the fluid level, i did not think that they were related. BUT, is your e-brake tight? or is it loose? i had the same problem when my -ebrake was extremely loose, and the light would flicker and then sometimes it was on for a while......if it is loose, just lift up the carpet patch on the side of the tranny tunnel and tighten the 10mm slip bolt....i think that it is a 10mm....

it can be the flid level. if it's really low, when he floors it the little fluid that is in there will rush to one side and trip the light.

if the fluid is really low that means his brake pads are really low

or he has a leak.

my brake light would come on when my brake fluid wasnt full... so check that 1st https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/cool.png

I thought you guys were joking with the fluid thing... Like blinker fluid... LOL... BRAKE FLUID.... That's it... I'm retarded!

My brake light came on because of the e-brake also. Simple fix.
