going to go non sequential soon on a stock motor and was wondering what to use to controll the boost. i only want it very slightly higher than stock or stock if you guys want to warn me against it i will be puting in a down pipe and cat replacement with non seq turbos everything els standard including the ecu for time being seing that i will have controll over the boost a down pipe and cat removal will not need an ecu
thinking of getting a manual one what u guys think? |
Yonner I have the Greddy Profec B analog controller...I'm having problems with the solenoid right now but it seems to control the boost quite well with the NS. They're not very expensive either, and allows for 2 seperate boost levels selectable from inside the car

dont want to controll the boost just want to set it to stock for time being
I too am set to stock and with the controller it spools the turbos much faster. I get full boost ~500 rpm or so sooner.
You'll need to use a boost controller to set it to stock. I believe the stock spring allows you to boost 6 psi? That's no fun.
yeh but thats all i can do on stock ecu isnt it what do you mean spring so if i get a profect b i can set it to stock? and can i push it safly to what the stock ecu can handel? either this or i will get a nightsports ecu whitch is maped to 1 bar
Mine was all stock apart from a Knight sport fuel cut deffenser (jap import) and I was seeing 1 bar on 1st turbo and .8-9 with the 2nd before I stripped it, as I have read thats not quite normal what else could cause this? I don't think there was any thing else fuel or ecu done to it and it had realy high emissions.
