Ok i have a 62-1 and a Turbonetics Deltagate II wastegate. I know it's too small. But last summer it would hold me steady at 12 psi. This summer i have boost creep like a mofo. So i ran a stright line to my wastegate from my turbo and tonight i put a manual boost controler on it. Still over boosting after 4.5k rpm. Now i was told that i can add a vacume line to the end of the wastegate where there is a second vacume connection. I was told it helps it open and stay open. Now from what do i run a line to it? Here is a really bad pic of my setup.

i should note you looking at the back side of the wastegate i turned it arounf for the diagram

come on someone has to know how to help my wastegate work better. It use to work fine there has to be some reason.

Is your wastegate ported at all?
|
no his wg is not ported. your spring might need to be replaced. if they gave you a 7 lb spring and you have it on 12 you might have just worn it out a little. I got like 4 different springs with dif. rates. but for the extra vac. you could run it to the manifold, I think. Not to sure but if someone has a definite answer that be cool.

well it seems i'm just going to do a fuel sysyem and tune for 20 lbs i hope it can hold it steady at that. If not i guess i'll just have to put a bigger one on.
