so i was drivng, all of a sudden, the car bogged, i managed to get it home, when i slowed down to park the car, the car wont hold idle, and just wanted to die, when i start it, it wont catch.
fuel pressure is good, pinned at 40psi, plugs are fairly new. right now im letting the engine cool down a little so i can take the plugs out and check for pulses. any other suggestions? |
when u turn it over does it sound like it has compression on all seals. If it has a pause in compression u blew a apexi seal.
replaced plugs, check some wires and unflooded the engine which wasnt flooded....
then, did a pulse check on each rotor, and then both at the same time, i got very even strong pulses from the leading holes. while i was sitting in the car trying to notice the gauges and on the commander i had +0.25 of boost..... checked the gauge in my boost controller and my mechanical gauge in the car.. and both go into vaccuum. the problem is i need a new MAP sensor |
i unplugged the map sensor and it read +2.61..... plugged it again and started blowing and sucking on it like i was a cheap hooker, and boost didnt move from .25-.26
sucks...time for an upgrade. i guess i should go pick them seats up, eh.
I've got a MAP sensor new from Mazda, but it's very pricey. I'll look around for a used one.
Go in to the power FC menu and check the map sensor setting... I have had it for no reason change the option setting by it's self...
as dragon stated..
check your PIM.. should be on normal.. swap with trecebs sensor when he picks up the seats to verify yours.. |
I can't remember what you had for sure, but if you have a 3 bar sensor for the boost kit then set it to option 1...
nevermind.. forgot you had a 3bar..
not to mention a single... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/happy.png |
