well, on poorly plowed streets the snow tends to accumulate a lil high in the middle of the lane/road from tires not being run over it.

Was it hard or soft snow.

a lil bit of both. some of it sounded loud enough for me to worry about it.

Chunks of ice that the plow might pull up would be something I would worry about. I've seen ice do some serious damage to the under carriage of a car.

I've seen people's exhaust canisters get ripped in half from ice here. Our winters are just as bad as on the east coast (we just get em a bit later than you guys HEHE) and the ice starts forming very soon after the initial 2 feet of snow. Be carefull since the worst part of it WILL be near the inside of the rims (where the canister is on the FD blah blah), so **** cuold happen.

Crap, Francisco, Crap

on a serious note, if you hit ice/snow with the center of the car, I would say obviously you risk ******* up the bumper, then there is the underbelly pan, after that there is the drivetrain, which should be able to handle some ice

treceb 12-08-2003 02:45 PM

that reminds me. how unprotected is the oil pan??

i dunno if its just me or do you also get a kick out of calling me francisco, not that i mind, i think its funny seeing how im not called that often...lol
