do it yourself. If i had a choice, i would always pick DIY.

It isn't hard at all... All you need is xacto knife, solder, soldering iron, electrical tape.

The hardest part for me was finding a place to route the harness through the firewall. THat took me 2 days and a lot of 4 letter words, the rest of super easy.

Do I have to pull the intake and turbos out to get to the valves to hook up the hoses or what? The diagram was kinda flaky. Besides the firewall problem was that the only thing you had a problem with?

um... on second thought it might be harder for 93+ rx-7s. I have a 89, which is single turbo, i have no idea how you hook up all the hoses for the sequential turbos. For me yes, the hardest part was fishing the harness through the firewall.

DIY- I did it on mine- if your mechanically inclined....just read over the directions, and make sure to take your time- DON'T rush it.

I started it and am now hooking up the pressure sensor and the directions say to use a 3 way and put it between the fuel pressure regulator and the sump. Kinda confused with that. Do they want me to tap into the fuel line or vacuum line. Need Help.

Just T the line that goes to the stock pressure sensor. Err... do 3rd gens use a seperate pressure sensor? or do they get everything from the MAP?

Anyhow if there is not stock pressure sensor, find the nipple that goes to the blow off valve, T it there, route a vac hose with zip tie to the correct fitting on the AVCR solenoid, i cna't remember which one off the top of my head, but read the instructions it's all in there.
