Well i can build a complete tranny for almost half the cost that level ten can.......Also less than what they offer a stall speed for...I havnt ran mine yet but mine should hold up to 450 whp no problem.........Ive done research on this tranny in the past year cuz that is what i have and i have no choice to run an automatic........And it will defently hold up to abuse..............

ive owned an auto for the past year. your on the right track with the dp and catback. also good idea to get a computer upgrade when you add the intake. and if you dont know your options are limited when it comes to computer upgrades.

you can only use a piggy back system like the efi pms (the one that PFS sales), unless you want to lose control of the tranny. the stock ecu is mated with a computer which controls the automatic tranny, ie. the hold function. i have heard of a few people using the power fc and haltech, but you lose the hold feature unless you figure out a different way to hook it up.

you can try changing your gear ratios to pick up some of the low end power lost by the auto 3:90 rear end vice the manuals 4:10 ratio. ive heard that a 4:33 ratio would be good.

the biggest problem i ran into was boost control. once i added the midpipe i loss control of the boost in between shifts. i was getting a spike to around 15psi between shifts. which caused the death of my engine. i am now in the process of getting my motor rebuilt and converting to a manual tranny.

BTW my mods where intake, dp, mp, catback, greddy smic, greddy profec b, ported wastegate, and efi pms.
