hey guys, i have an apexi gt core with offset endtanks and all that jazz. i must say, this thing is huge. its over 30 inches long w/endtanks. id like to use it, but am wondering how hard it would be to mount this beast. i thought someone had made a kit that used this core, but i cant find the pics anymore. i have a water/air intercooler that im wanting to install as well. im not exactly sure which one i wanna install. i like the water/air ic because of the fact that i can leave the front end alone and not have to worry about it getting beat up by rocks and crap. i know the fmic will work extremely well due to the shear size of it.

i need some pointers as to which one im gonna go with. pros & cons sort of stuff and if anybody has any insight on a basis of a start on installing this beast would be awesome.

thanks,

paul

i like that setup. the bends are kept quite minimal. id have to do away with my endtanks or just wrap em up to the position that yours go through at. did you have to do anything to the radiator? also, if you have the specs on your bends that would be helpful. that way i could just mock yours.

thanks,

I've heard that the design of the apexi intercooler allows for less pressure drop. You guys hear this too?

i dont know for sure. . . i think apexi "claims" that. dont know if it is for real, though. the design is killer looking though!!! haha, as far as looks go i like the apexi core. im just sooooooooooo torn between making a water/air intercooler kit or just going with this. damnit. . . . i just dont know!!!

hey rotarypowered101, if you havent put your front bumper on yet, could you give me dimensions of your mounting and ic piping? that would help out a lot. that way i can just *ahem* "go by" your setup. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
