I'm thinking about putting an injection system in my car this next round. Do any of you guys have a kit you like over any others. Or have any good tips or suggestions?

teknics 01-31-2007 11:05 AM

i have the coolingmist deluxe dual nozzle for my s5 t2.

kit seems to be of good quality, have yet to use it tho unfortunately. materials look good tho, customer service is pretty good as well.

snow performance is another alternative, a bit pricier tho.

You guys would be surprised at how CHEAP you can make one yourself, however the controllers are nice with those kits...

teknics 01-31-2007 05:27 PM

yea when i saw the parts i figured it wouldve been easy to make myself. but at certain points in a cars buildup it just gets ridiculous, plus i wasnt about to just start testing ideas out, id rather have someone else to blame LOL.

A customer of mine just bought that, I'm curious to see if all the gadgets are worth it.

I just piece together a nice system for a sandrail here for fractions of the cost..

If you can afford to wait a bit then go for the aquamiat hi flow kit with a injector duty cycle summer so it will track idc

i've got aquamist in my car.. Igy put it in when he owned the car, so he would be a better one to tell you the details of it. one thing I can tell you is it's running from the rear of the car up to the intake, so the motor is mounted in the trunk and uses the rear washer fluid container(dont have a rear wiper anymore) as its source of water.

sdminus 02-10-2007 05:21 PM

All i can say is you get what you pay for.

The coolingmist varicool does not work. We have tested 2 of them and neither control the flow at all. I would call it dangerous.

fastcarfreak 02-13-2007 06:15 PM

i run a cooling mist dual stage setup, and i love it. If you want a really high quality kit, i would recomment aquamist, but the cost is much more... If you want a good solid kit that doesnt cost too much, go with cooling mist!!

dont forget alcohol injection. Alkycontrol was the original producer of controllable injection kits.

25psi and pumpgas anyone?

Thanks for the link Bobby. Where have you been hiding lately? Whats up with your car?

sen2two 02-17-2007 12:34 PM

sooo...no one make a FD specific kit?

i dont wanna run race gas. but i wanna make about 550- to 600 WHP. water/alchohol injection seems the way to go.

never messed with on of these kits personally. how hard is installation? seems easy...?

seems like the most straight forward and complete package of most of the kits available.... its even preassembled. it must work, look at the car they're using it on!

i have a cooling mist kit that has yet to be installed.... have owned it unused for 2 years now.. hehe
