Just like the pic but no teeth.....

fritzfry 01-16-2004 10:32 AM

hehe, of course https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

so it loses teeth (bad) and doesn't majorly crack apart or anything.

i was just wondering for those that popped their motor and it started shaking like a jackhammer if the shaking was due to a lost seal, or the lost seal being wedged on the side of the rotor, or if missing gear teeth caused the rotor to spin erraticaly out of phase/wrong path.

id go with apex seals but it would be cool going out in a bumpy blaze of shrapnel would be a cool way to go too

a bent eccentric shaft that wobbled inside the stationary gear bearing and caused the front rotor to smack the front plate.

I have yet to see one fail ever and we spin some good RPM's on our engines over here and we've been doing it for a long time on a lot of diffrent cars...

i guess dragon means...... rule out broken stationary gear https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
