Yeah I have had it for months. It's a good intake system and an easy install.
make good power? how about sound?
I can't really say whether it makes good power or not. It's the only one that works with my Greddy FMIC so I didn't have much choice. And for the sound, I can't hear it as it's muffled by my midpipe and A'pexi GT Spec exhaust. I imagine someone with less mods them myself would be able to give more input.

my friend has it on his wrx, personally after seeing it, i wouldn't buy it. The cage part that looks like metal....isn't, its cheap plastic. If i'm not mistaken vosko's actually broke apart. I honestly like the apexi dual intakes much much better
thanks i was also wondering about the HKS J-spec intake, anybody have any idea about that one?
here is a pic http://store3.yimg.com/I/topendimports_1733_2899056 |

keep that foam oiled, others wise your wankel will be chewing foam... not a good thing of course.
kevin. |
not a big fan of the foam filters. Get some K&N filters and you'll be fine.
I agree with everyone else.
the foam ones suck nads. K & N's on intake pipes are the way to go. |
thanks, but home depot? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif come on that's what one of the kids i know with a NEON did. what's worse is he said his car ran a 14.9 and it's bone stock with a 3in straight pipe tip(like the ones' for sale in pep boys that's supposed to go on like a dual V8 exhaust) and a Lowe's(not Home Depot probably why slower) intake. i raced him in my civic HX and had him through 3rd https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif my civic runs low 15's allright https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif . so anyway i've always used K & N, and i know they work, i was just wondering will the K & N's hookup with the Trust pipping, or is that what you were trying to say and i was just to dense to grasp that?

I think they are pretty nice. A friend of mine has them. They look pretty good too. Here is a picture.
Hey man, your from Delaware too? Nice http://carversion2.com/images/HIN-AC-2002-7.jpg |
Scrub and Wraith, I'm from Delaware also, but now I live in Texas. Miss the beach and hot chicks in bikinis. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif
deleware only has hot chicks in 2 places.... the beach in the summer and UoD all year
the greddy front mount with the greddy intake thing happened with the wrx too, which is why he had to give up the blitz (unfiltering metal intake) for the greddy. If you don't do home depot mods, you haven't been modding your car long enough.

Just because some ricer thought his mod did something special, doesn't mean going the same route, with a little ingenuity can't help you out! And a gaurantee my intakes look just as good as anyone elses. |
Guys, if you don't have a big IC, i moded stock air box by cuting a slot in the bottom. pop rivigin a piece of aluminium, as a blocker shield, and block of the stock baffles, it looks totally stock from the top, but breaths cold aare from the bottom $10 and 4 hours.
I also have this intake and I put it on before I got my mufler (hks) and with the stock muffler u could really heer it sucking air and even with the muffler / down pipe Ican still heer it even with the windows up . I have a greddy bov s that is kinda quiet but I'm still running stock boost (no boost controller).
awww cmon guys. Delaware has hot chicks in other places too. You just have to know where to look. But most of them reside in Newark.
