i beleive there is a good write up on www.robrobinette.com or www.scuderiaciriani.com about it.
i'm just amazed that there is an FD with an airpump still on it... |
Just had a look at those but they dont give no info on getting rid of the solinoids and vac piping that relates to the whole piece and the egr tank

Since you have a power FC you don't really need to worry about the electrical part. You can just unplug the airpump and remove it. As far as the hoses go, you can do it the easy way and just cap them off, or get some block off plates, and remove the ACV.

I'd love to remove the pump to reduce underhood clutter and improve air movement a bit, but don't want to jeapordize clogging up an expensive HF cat or adding a loud midpipe. Not to mention the folks that have to keep their cars smog legal. Weight reduction and parasitic loads are pretty minimal, so I've chosen to just leave it...for now. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png |
I have a carbon fibre blank plate for the acv, ideally i'd like to remove all the clutter, failing this where do I get the caps from?
