The previous owner of my car removed the ac compressor and hoses and gave them to me when i bought the car. Anyway, i get no air flow whatsoever from the vents in the car. Shouldn't the heater still provide air flow through the vents?

there is a seperate motor under the passenger side of the dash that blows the air out of the vents, start checking fuses.
The a/c compressor has nothing to do with it |
That is true, the blower motor is under the passenger dash close to the right front quarter panel. That might be the problem. Another issue might be if the previous owner removed the evaporator and did not reinstall the evaporator casing. Just behind the glove box is a black box with retaining clips on it. This holds the evaporator. When you turn the vent or a/c on the blower motor blows air through the evaporator housing and to the vents. If the casing is removed and not replaced the air will just blow out into the passenger foot area. Let me know if you have any questions. I just removed my a/c system so I know all about it now.
