? About Sparks Plugs, well Some Of U Need Might
Mods done your car, anyway I try to buy some new plugs from the dealer they told me that p/n BUR9EQ & BUR7EQ are cold type of plugs, in other words they refered to them as regular plugs, now they say that BUR8EQ & BUR6EQ is a hotter plug? I very curious to find what is the big difference between hot and cold plugs? I always buy the 9 and 7 for my Rx7,never new they had a better type? Any of u guy's this or can explain the difference between hot& cold plug? Something simple as this driving me nutz. Thanks, khris
Use 9's all around. 9's are a COLDER plug. The higher the number, the colder the plug.
This rating is derived from the amount of insulation around the diode (whatever it is) and its ability to transfer heat. Hotter plugs dont have as much insulation and will not work for rotaries.
i have been running 9's all around for a long time with no problems, IMO makes the car run better.

If you use 10's and up they tend to foul out faster.
