Just recently pulled off my intake elbow, throttle body and oil filler to get at the plugs and
wires (yes, I know it's easier from the bottom) and since then I'm getting a 3K RPM hesitation when cold. I've seen this is a real common problem, and one very common cause is a grounding problem. I've also seen someone mention a ground wire that comes off the battery and connects beneath the oil filler, from what I understand. I'm starting to wonder if I pulled a bolt off that had a ground attached to it and forgot to reattach it. Is anyone familiar enough to be able to tell me if there is one that I could have left off down there? If so, is there any easy way to get at it from the bottom? I'd hate to pull that all off again if not necessary, so I figured I'd ask around first... Thanks! Mike |
You can add as many grounds as you want but it won't elliminate the 3k hesitation, belive me I have tried.

Just seems odd that it happened after I pulled that area apart, and that so many people seem to have fixed it by adding grounds.
According to http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/ anyway. What do you see as the cause? Thanks, Mike |
