Step 7.
Last one https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png Plug the remaining two lines that came of the TCA with 1/4" bolts and some zipties. |
After you have that all set reinstall the intake and check all your Intercooler couplers to make sure that they are nice and snug. Thats it. You should be now getting nice solid boost with no transitions whatsoever. If you are experiencein boost spikes still I suggest getting a nice manual boost controller from www.turbosmart.com.au If you are not getting full boost the first place I suggest looking is the Intercooler couplers. If you are still using stock couplers and worm driven clamps I highly suggest replacing them asap with silicone couplers and "T" bolt clamps. Good luck https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Wow....great write up!! Whats the difference between the "poor mans" and the other way?
The poor mans version can be done in under an hour and it is completely reversable. The full version is not reversable but allows you to clear out a huge amount of unnecessary crap from the engine bay.
will i need a remap of the ecu to perform this mod???
No
that flapper that u are openign with a close hanger can you not just lob it of with an air cutter???? or will that cause problems?
You can certainly cut it off, however that is not reversible. That would be more likely associated with "full non-sequential"
