Installing a downpipe

I finally installed the downpipe. I have to disconnect the cat back in order the place the downpipe to the Cat.



Anyway, do you guys fabricate a custom bracket to hold the downpipe just like the stock bracket does? If I don't have one, is it still alright?



The Carbon Ti cat back plus the downpipe gives the car more vibration. Just wonder if I have a bracket to hold the downpipe, would that be better?

You dont need any brackets.



Didn't you notice how heavy the precat is compared to the DP?

That is why there was bracket.

make sure you soak the studs/bolts/nuts with some PB blaster or some other type of penetrating liquid. from my experiences, all the studs, bolts and nuts that are included in any part of the exhaust must be made of adamantium because they are a bitch to loosen.



a torch wouldn't hurt either, to heat them up.
